Let me tell you about my friend Ayanna. She loves to sing at church. Those vocal chords of hers go wild when she sings in the choir of her predominantly all black church with drums banging and hands clapping. Ayanna was born and raised in Los Angeles. She has a brother and a sister and is the oldest of three kids. She attended UC Santa Cruz and majored in psychology. That led her into her first career as a probation officer. (Don't make Ayanna come chasing after you!) As for Ayanna's home life, she almost has an empty nest; the youngest of her three children is still living at home. Ayanna also has a new baby at home. She is the proud owner of a 9 month old Queensland puppy. The puppy is named Najee, which means safe in Arabic. Because of her almost empty nest, Ayanna is wanting to down-size her house. If anybody is looking to relocate to Lemoore Ayanna has a house for sale. As for now, Ayanna continues to add to her 12 or so years of teaching while earning her Masters Degree in Reading and Language Arts with her two new friends Kim and Rindi for the next year and a half. In her spare time, Ayanna enjoys walking her dog , reading and embarking on day long excursions. She recently traveled to Hayward, Ca to visit her son.
